Better than the original

Every old hospital has a barber shop, and ours is no exception. Chances are your old figures have a few bald spots. THE MEDIC uses state-of-the art technology and techniques to restore their appearance. Using modern adhesive and a special device which creates a field of static electricity around your figure's head, the specially color-blended hairs are set in place standing on end, even more so than they did twenty plus years ago! Plus there are more colors to choose from than were originally available. Vintage restorations which demand accurate original colors are not a problem, either.

THE MEDIC first cleans the head and scrubs the old hair off. All the old hair must be removed to ensure that the new hair will match. Then the paint is touched up with special paints. (TIP: DON'T use regular modeling paints on GIJOEs!) When the paint is dry, the fun begins, with the application of special adhesive and into the static-matic. (Photos coming, it's been tough capturing this.) Once the glue's dry, you have a head of hair that's "better than new."

You can create a whole new look for your figures. Choosing a color is the hardest part. Why not make your old GIJOE look his age with our grey hair treatment? It's sort of like Grecian Formula in reverse. This and other colors are specially blended by THE MEDIC for a very rich effect. And it drives 1:6 scale women crazy, as you can see!
